According to Alex Botar’s enlightening mantra: ‘Home is where House Music is...’ The Transylvanian-born DJ and producer stepped up to the decks at the tender age of 16. He first heard electronic music in 1990 at the Würzburg club »Airport«. He was electrified by the dynamism and euphoria of the emerging techno scene. In his native Braunschweig he began to listen to the Marushas radio programme »Rave Sattelite« and soon decided to start DJing himself. He played his first gig with 17 at the »Cyclone« party series in Braunschweig, becoming the resident DJ soon after. From here Alex Botar continued to raise his profile and expand his work sphere.
