Alex Hall Nuns on Water-Skis EP

Alex Hall is back with Nuns on Water Skis. A chugging, progressive house track that is just down right fun. It really reminds me of Underworld around the Cow Girl era. Really great stuff. Kris Brown offers up a warped and twisted remix. Getting a little techier and giving the track a bit more hustle. Simon Firth really takes us on a ride with his rendition of Nuns. He toughens up the track and turns it into a late night slow burn. The B side begins with Alex Halls track Take Pride. Again I'm hearing a strong Underworld influence and maybe even a little Fluke as well. Nice big room stuff. Kris Brown on remix duties again. He introduces a big wobbly bassline which is a great contrast to the main arpeggio melody line. Geared a little more for the after-hours sets, it rounds out the release very nicely.
