ABOUT THE ARTIST André Henriquez was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the year of 1976. His musical education had begin at age 12, with classic guitar lessons. At age 14 he felts in love with the violin what becames soon into your principal instrument. As a self-teacher he had studed many others instruments like eletric guitar, bass, mandolin, keyboards, accordion, etc.. As violinist he played with many orchestras and bands in Brazil. In 1999 he joined with the prog-rock band Lummen in the album “Ao Vivo no Rio Jazz Club” playing violin, acoustic guitar and mandolin . His solo career had begin in 2006 and in 2007 he relesead his first album “Caminho da Seda”.
