Audiophox

Jochem J Hamerling aka Audiophox has been making music since he could see the keys on the keyboard. He started out with playing Saxophone and moved to piano/synthesiser later. Around the age of 15 hestarted a drive in show with some friends and together they organised parties. Jochem studied a year in Chicago where he discovered the real Chicago house sound. He saw DJ’s like Paul Johnson and Derrick Carter there and from that moment he knew dance music is the most beautiful thing in the world. The real Chicago house they played was just massive! During that year he learned to appreciate a lot of different music styles. When I he returned to Holland he picked up the DJ thing more and more and made more dance oriented music.
