Axel Lecoste

Born in the late seventies, Axel Lecoste has an atypical path, steeped in classical music from an early age. He becomes a pianist as soon as his fingers are big enough to cover an octave. His repertoire is, at first only classical (mainly Mozart and Chopin). Then as a teenager he turns to a repertoire of sounds based on soul, jazz and funk. He also learns the art of improvising in these very specific styles. Early 90s, it is to much harder sounds that Axel Lecoste moves. Indeed very involved in high level snowboarding his musical references change naturally to metal bands such as Rage Against the Machine, NOFX, Green Day or even AC / DC.
