If Axwell (Axel Hedfors) has spent the last few years bubbling under and earning the props of his peers for a string of flawless productions, remixes and DJ sets, then 2009 was the year he properly exploded. Quite simply, 2009 has been the year of the Swedish House Mafia, the six-legged groove machine that comprises of Axwell and his buddies Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. "2009 has been really good," Axwell reflects, before quickly adding: "The years just keep getting better and better. Every year is the best in terms of work, gigs and recognition."
