Big World Biographie

Hamburg - also known as the gate of the world

At least some people say so - well, it's pretty green here, there are heaps
of trees and bridges (more than in Venice!) and we love 2 live there. This
might be the reason why we, who are Markus Binapfl, Paul Da Lea and Patrick
Buck, called this project "BIG WORLD".

Actually, there could be another reason, but we can't remember...

So honestly:

We always loved House Music. So that's why we started DJing. Soon we felt
that the time had come 2 also play our own stuff, so we produced our first
single "Morning Light", with the amazing voice of Inusa. It got licensed to
most important territories. It was on every major Ibiza compilation (we
where definitely proud of that fact), and the special Paul Da Lea &
Windspiel's (myspace.com/windspiel) Chill-Out-Version appeared on legendary
"Cafe Del Mar 8". In addition the track jumped into charts in various
countries, such as France, Spain and Greece.

Our next single "Open Your Heart" was more of a French-style House track
and it became a radio hit and made it into the Top 20 Airplay-Charts in
France, Spain and Greece. We had some DJ work to do there and appeared on
several TV-Shows all around Europe. Yes, we became famous, rich and all of
that - o.k., that's not the case, but yet, it would have been great
though...

However we had to make a break with touring - to produce some pop-stuff for
Germany. But at the end of 2005 we finally got back and released our new
single "Me Gusta" on Casa Rosso Recordings.

It's a pumping Latin House track with the great vocals of Bonny Ferrer.
Some nice remixes by Gadjo, Richard Grey and Aaron McClelland followed as
well.

We are resident DJs in one of the leading House clubs in Hamburg called
"HALO", sharing it regularly with guests, like Milk & Sugar, Phats & Small,
Gadjo, Tocadisco, Boogie Pimps, Tonka, Joachim Garraud, a.s.o. Another
project of Markus Binapfl and Patrick Buck goes by the name of "Kaiser
Souzai". Under this guise they release more electronic based dance stuff.

Their new single "Monique" is released on Rotor, a label of Milk & Sugar
Recordings, and jumps right now into several dance charts.
