Blake Baxter

Blake is a Detroit native with a reputation for producing steamy, deep, whispering tracks. In 1985, Blake signed with the Chicago record label DJ International. The label released two tracks produced by Blake, one titled 'In This House We Jack' and the second 'Work Your Body'. In 1988, through 1989, Blake produced tracks for Incognito Records Detroit, releasing tunes such as 'Sexuality' and 'Fuck You Up'. In 1991, at the end of an UR tour in Germany, Blake took time out to produce what will be the first of three album projects titled 'Dream Sequence One thru Three' on Tresor. During that time Blake produced tracks such as 'One More Time' and 'Brothers Gonna Work it Out.' Also in Germany, Blake produced two albums for Munich-based label Disko B.
