Carlo Astuti has remixed for some of the worlds biggest acts, releasing remixes for the likes of Duffy and Maroon5. His first release with modifi is a Techno stormer of the highest quality! The track is built around one MASSIVE LOOP that builds and builds with devastating dance floor effect. The crazy German vocal and obsessive riff lend themselves to the remix artists who make good sense of the pack. The James Vickers remix is pushed on by a massive, bouncy bass riff, over stated white noise and a tight minimal percussion loop work the track to yet more of the same. James's first EP with modifi has just dropped on Beatport and picked up promo support from DJ's like Hernan Cattaneo, David Shokh and Anderson Noise. The Modrocker remix is an outstanding slab of deep, minimal, Tech House. His sound has seen recent Beatport chart entries on 3 Liquid Hz Records and this looks like it could be another winner. This is a brilliant release, all three tracks are an example of what Techno is all about for us at the moment... IBIZA ANTHEM? In the bag and on the ipod...
