Darren DuVall Between the Streets EP

Between The Streets EP by Darren DuVall features various styles of music all tied together with a deep groove. In just 4 tracks, you'll hear downtempo, house, breaks, lounge, chill, deep, sexy, funky – it’s all in there! The title track, “Between The Streets”, is a downtempo gem that makes you want to sink into your sofa or the drivers seat of your car and just groove out. However, or wherever, you listen to this track, Between The Streets is all about feeling good. The second track on the release, “Slow”, brings Darren’s mastery of the deep closer to the dance floor. This track is a great set warmer that will make you want to seek the warmth of other bodies. Mmmm… warm bodies! Track 3, “Freedom In An Urban Cell”, seamlessly ties house and breaks together in elegant style and demonstrates Darren’s tight percussive sound. The final track to round out the EP is “Everyone’s Groove”. The best way to describe this one is lounge breaks with a hint of tripped-out effects. It's quite different and was an absolute must for a bonus track on this release. Between The Streets EP by Darren DuVall is the debut release for a new label, Musical Missionary. Musical Missionary is a nonprofit charity dedicated to improving educational opportunities for underprivileged youth around the world. Musical Missionary accepts donated music from artists and releases it to raise money for its mission work. To date, Musical Missionary has donated $1,000 to SoBe Institute of the Arts (sobearts.org) to sponsor music education for underprivileged youth in Miami.
