Ready Mix returns with the -Black Dot- series, which emphasizes the darker more progressive side of the label with dPen -Circles-. dPen-s productions have been released on several well respected labels in the progressive house scene such as Subliminal, Lost Language, Presslab, Black Hole, Feral Code, Bonzai and his latest on Nick Warren-s Hope Recordings amongst many more; he has remixed the likes of Anthony Pappa, Quivver and Chris Fortier while continually getting full support from international DJ-s like Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren, to name but a few... The original mix offers a laid back, subtle groove with eastern inspired vox and synth combination that hypnotizes the listener with its intricate progression. Steve Mill; a young and gifted producer hailing from Greece has been turning out gems for the likes of Global Underground, Renaissance, Deep, Plastic City, Anjuna Deep, Star 69 & Vapour. His 1985 Remix fails to disappoint with uplifting, bouncy, and club-ready rendition. D-Slide & Doxx (aka Szabolcs Szalai & Gergely Hodi) take Circles up a notch with their very potent treatment, drenched with FX, dramatic vocal chants, and upfront drum programming that will make any room shake with delight. The AlterImage (aka Ian Resler & Adam Force) Remix keeps true to their New York roots, providing a Techy, effervescent yet firmly underground touch. Hungary-s Krisztian Gabor aka Chris Drifter closes out this EP in style with his trademark crisp, layered percussion programming, and intelligent melodic arpeggiating leads.
