Exercise One

Exercise One is actually two: Marco Freivogel and Ingo Gansera, makers of rolling minimal techno based in Berlin, Germany. The pair met working at the !K7 label and began the project in a basement studio in Kreuzberg, which they shared with Luciano, Memo and Jeremy P. Caulfield. Caulfield was actually the first to encourage them to send out demos, one of which, 'Roll With You', was released as their first 12". The pair founded their own record label Lan Muzik in 2005, releasing Donato Dozzy, Arne Michel and Jacopo Carreras as well as their own music. They've also begun to focus more on remixes, remixing Sebo and Sweet N Candy for Mobilee and Dumb-Unit respectively.
