Elektrotek is proud to present their eagerly anticipated debut release in the shape of a double A side from one of the fastest rising stars around, Frase.
'Tiger Tasty' and ' In Other Words' provides the perfect launch package for a label that has at its core, the belief that every release should know no limit, push boundaries and tear up stereotypes.
It is an ethos that is not afraid of challenging preconceptions and one that will see its releases delight and challenge dance music fans alike.
Frase has fast established himself as one of the premier league of new producers and djs with a raft of critically acclaimed material finding its way into leading dj cd wallets and onto the world's very best labels.
Remixes for the likes of Above and Beyond's album track Tri State and involvement with the massive Frontline guise and their double A side 'Global System' and 'Surface to Air' have seen him cement himself as a producer much in demand.
A favourite with the likes of Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren to name but a few, Frase has turned his attention to the darker side of his dj sets in this double A side for Elektrotek. In fact his dj sets regularly take him to leading clubbing establishments across the UK and beyond including The Gallery, Gatecrasher and Passion to name but a few
Tiger Tasty with its dark, groovy and relentless bass line provides a very different track suitable for a wide range of djs and dance floors. A true standout track, its intelligent structure and clever use of sounds and melodies makes it markedly different from anything else out there.
Whilst 'In Other Words' turns its focus to a tighter and deeper sound, adding tight percussion to a rolling, hypnotic, head down track guaranteed to inject something different into any dance floor.
Having secured support from the likes of Gareth Emery through to Anne Savage to Martin Roth to Andy Farley this release ticks all the boxes and DJ Mag in its review concluded that it will no doubt "keep those heads down and feet stomping out on the dancefloors" Too right!
