Ian Betts Reflections

Ian Betts & Static Blue first met when Ian's fledgling Six:Thirty label picked up one of Jon's first productions, the beautiful "Under The Sea", for which Ian provided a remix. The two subsequently remixed each others work on several occasions, most notably when Ian delivered his stunning version of "Fade Away" which was hammered by John O'Callaghan, Armin Van Buuren, Simon Patterson and many others. Between them, Ian & Jon have had productions released on AnjunaBeats, Discover, Conspiracy, Nukleuz, Enhanced, Flashover, Armada and Alter Ego, but it is only now that the two producers have united to work on a collaboration! "Reflections" perfectly captures the sound of both producers - lush melodies, driving beats and dancefloor energy are all in evidence, beautifully weaved together with a level of production that is often lacking in today's music. On remix duties we are pleased to have captured the services of Haris C, who is really creating a buzz for himself right now, and his interpretation hits all the right buttons. We also include a remix from new production outfit Tinderbox, who deliver a sublime and hypnotic 128bpm version of the track which reminds us of the classic progressive trance of yesteryear.
