You can use our Licensor Area to sell your tracks online. You have to be registered with DJTUNES and you have to have a licensor account to do so.

If you already have a DJTUNES user account, go to http://backstage.djtunes.com/ and log in. Fill out the Licensor application form and click "Submit". Your Licensor account will be activated straight away and you will be able to start uploading your tracks.

If you are not registered with DJTUNES, Go to http://backstage.djtunes.com/licensor/registration and click on "Sign Up". Fill out the registration form and click "Proceed". Fill in your licensor information, click "Finish" and an activation email will be sent to your email address.

Yes, you have to accept to our terms and conditions in order to sell your tracks through the DJTUNES website. The contract is located online and is part of the registration process. It can be found at: http://www.djtunes.com/labelregistration

Die Tracks werden durch die DJTUNES Web Oberfläche hochgeladen. Bitte vergewissere Dich, dass die Tracks alle im 320kbps CBR (Constant Bit Rate) MP3 Format mit LAME kodiert wurden.

Alle anderen Formate werden nicht akzeptiert.

LAME is a free software application used to encode audio into the MP3 file format. Most audio file mastering applications have the LAME encoding option built in as a standard encoder.

To create a new label, use the label dropdown menu in the release details area when uploading a release. Select 'or create new label' to create your label and this label will automatically be added to your licensor account after the integration process is complete. There is no limit to how many labels a licensor can create and you can use this function to create further labels.

1. Upload Tracks
   
   

   To upload new tracks click on 'Start Uploading Tracks' and press 'Select Files' to locate the audio files on your computer. Once you have selected a file, or multiple files, click 'Upload Selected Files' to upload. If you want to start over, simply click 'Clear Queue' to abort uploading and start over.

   When the progress bar has reached 100%, click on the 'Continue to track details' button to enter your track information / metadata.

2. Edit Track Details.
   
   

   This is where you enter the details for each separate track, such as artist, track title, remix name and remixer. Use the ‘same for all’ function if the artist or track name is the same for all tracks. To enter Start Time, Preview, IRSC codes, collecting societies and mark tracks as 'Album Only', click 'Extend Track Detail Options'. Fields marked ' * ' are mandatory fields.

   Important: This information will be displayed on the DJTUNES website and it is crucial that all of the information you enter is 100% correct.

   Click on 'Continue…' to enter the release details

3. Release Info
   
   

   Now it’s time to enter the overall release information, select the label, upload a cover and set the release date. If you do not have a label of your own, please select Djtunes.com as your label. If you have a label of your own, select ‘OR Create New Label’ in the ‘Label Name’ dropdown menu. Every label that is created will be automatically added to your licensor account (for more details see How do i create a new label?). Fields marked ' * ' are mandatory fields.

   To upload a cover, click 'Upload Cover', select the file on your computer and the image will automatically begin uploading.

   Enter a release date in the 'Release Date' fields. Note: The release date has to be in this format YYYY/MM/DD.

   To enter EAN/UPC codes, Cat No. and (p) & (c) lines, click on 'Extend Release Detail Options'.

   When you have finished entering the release details, click 'Continue…'

4. Validate & Publish
   
   

   Important: Your track / release info cannot be edited after you have published your tracks, so make sure that all of the information you have entered is correct! If you want to go back and check your entries, click on the ‘Edit..’ buttons to go back.

   When you have finished entering all of the details, click ‘Publish Release’ to send the release off for integration.

Depending on how many tracks, the integration / audio conversion process can take up to 7 work days. We strongly advise that you upload your releases at least a week in advance before release date - Tracks with the same release date as the day they were uploaded on will not go online on time!

After every accounting period, amounts will be transferred via PayPal or can be paid out to your DJTUNES wallet.

Ein gut präsentiertes Release wird mehr Aufmerksamkeit erhalten. Vergewissere Dich, dass du ein Artwork hochlädst. Releases ohne Artwork machen einen schlechteren Eindruck und werden seltener angesehen.

A well presented release is much more likely to attract attention and get heard than a poorly presented one. Make sure that you upload artwork - Releases without artwork make a shabby impression and don't often get that many views.

A brief release description for each release is also a great way to tell people about your music - it doesn't have to be more than a few sentences. But don't stop there, get an artist pic of yourself up on the site, present your artist bio, latest news, gossip, whatever. The more interesting or inviting your page looks, the more people will visit it.
