...Spieth's Debut EP “Abi 99” appeared at “Kompakt”, which combined the outrider labels of German minimal Techno, “Profan” and “Studio 1”. When the british DJ and cult presenter John Peel played the EP shortly after its release in his radio show, it became clear that the years of research with synths and drum machines had been worth while. Spieth remixed Ego Express on Ladomat during the following year, and added “You Don’t Fool Me” , the follow up-12" inch on “Kompakt”.
