Born in Cartagena Colombia on 27th of may in the year 1967. In 1997 he emerged in the world of electronic music. His first compilation with the Colombian label (MTM) obtaining him big success. Julio Montes was the first Colombian dj that mixed folklore Colombiam music with the European beat. At the beginning of 2005 (DEFINITIVE RECORDING) signed him, releasing a big number of tracks.
