Karami & Lewis Biographie

Five years ago, Mazdak Karami and Dan Lewis got to know each other and began djing Hard Groove together. This way the duo Karami & Lewis was developed.

Through various Styles both made a musical development. Beginning from Electro through Tech House and Progressive House to Minimal, which they produced themselves and played live during gigs, the duo finally found their own, unique style.

Quickly both made themselves a name in the Western region of Nordrhein-Westfalen through their extraordinary sound. This way they won the attention of their audience, especially around Aachen.

Through their steady growing fan community they could also catch the attention of the producer duo Bernd Johnen and Frank Sanders from lickin’ records. Because of this contact it didn..t take long until Karami & Lewis signed their first contract 2007 at Lektrik, a sublabel of lickin’ records.

In the middle of January 2008 they already had their first release on Lektrik. This release is a remix of the single ‚Dance 2008’ of Leisure Groove from England. Shortly after their first, digital release followed with the single ‚E.P. No One’, which will be available on Vinyl at the end of February 2008.

For the future we can expect more productions of the soaring duo. Next to singles and various remixes, which will be released on diverse, big labels, we especially can expect smashing live gigs of the two guys from Aachen. Already from Aachen through Cologne to Hessen Karami & Lewis could make the crowd dance and party like crazy.
