KiRA Taking Control

Kira and James Warren are a formidable production duo on the Progressive House scene. They already have had a string of successful releases through well known labels such as Global Underground. They are well known for their re-edit of Trafik's "Indestructable" which was included in the very popular GU: Afterhours Vol. 5 compilation. "Taking Control" is another twist in the tale of quality TRIPTIK offerings. It is an extremely well produced house track with progressive elements that employs the talents of vocalist Rachel Lamb. Rachel is no stranger to emphasising electronic music. This extremely talented singer is also a member of the GU family and can be heard singing on tracks such as Trafik's Tech anthem "Surrender" and other releases from artists the likes of Satoshi Tomiie and DJ Yellow. As with all TRIPTIK releases we like to surprise our public with exceptional remixes which are out to put a new spin on things. With "Taking Control" we do not disappoint. We head down the electronica path with remixes from artists such as Jiro Vega who provide us with a Tech / Trance anthem, also KiloWatts cover the dirty breaks element and finally Royal Sapien round this truly diverse package with a dubstep / breaks crossover.
