Andromeda Recordings was created from the roots of the independent mentality that forged the Overdrive Digital Underground (www.odu.fm) as an international radio outlet for online independent music that the mainstream industry had deemed not worthy for commercial release. As more and more artists from every genre came to The ODU for that outlet and as the family grew from within, it was increasingly apparent that the next step in the evolution of independent music was the creation of a label that embraced the same values as Overdrive Underground and the indie artists that call it a home for their music.
