Global Ritmico

David Phillips started the Global Ritmico label in early 2004. Global Ritmico began as a framework for David’s love of a wide variety of sounds, ranging from progressive to minimal to tribal. After his first two releases on the label in Switzerland, David made a ‘versus EP’ with Swiss DJ Steven S. But it was with Global Ritmico’s third release, David’s first album, that something happened nobody was expecting: Global Ritmico jumped to the number two spot of the internationally known Balance Record Pool chart. This meant that all the big DJs of the dance scene were exposed to and playing the release including Chris Fotier, Steve Lawler, DJ Chus, Andy Hughes, and Martin Eyerer to name a few.
