Marc Vision Gotham City / Smalville

Marc Vision is a new name among the Mauritius family, but definitely not a new one to the scene. Apart from being an experienced DJ since ages with an ongoing residency at Germany´s superclub “Tribehouse”, he can look back on 13 releases as Vision & Canedy (on Scuba, Avalanche, Plusquam & Hadshot Rec.), ViTa (together with Trance pioneer Taucher on labels such as Tracid Traxx & On a mission), Visiontool (together with Marc O`Tool on Andry Nalin´s label Superfly Rec.) and finally as Marc Vision himself (on Poison, Underworld & Earregular Rec.). Marc O’Tool, who has already signed him in the past for his Underworld Recordings label and completed the Visiontool project, took Marc by the hand again and finally welcomes him on his Mauritius imprint along Criss Source, Björn Mandry & Ballroom with a promising double-tracker. “Gotham City” is pure big room action! Simple but effective beats combined with Flat Eric reminding bass sounds and a dreamy, rising melody should bring every progressive house floor near explosion. “Smallville” on the flip takes it a little deeper and moody, but not less effective. A hypnotic synthline and a monotone los ninos del parque-like bassline filter up and down again and thrill more and more, the longer the track runs, until you finally find yourself spellbound.
