Martin Roth Biographie

Martin Roth's ascent through the ranks of trance music's biggest stars has
been somewhat meteoric. In the past twelve months his remixes for Paul Van
Dyk on "The Other Side", Thrillseekers on "By your Side", Keane "Last Time"
and Blank & Jones on "Perfect Silence" and "Mind of the Wonderful" have
pricked the ears of every major DJ, A&R guru and trance music follower
across the globe.

The thirty one year old Frankfurt based DJ / producer made his breakthrough
in the trance scene over two years ago with a remake of Cygnus X's classic
track "The Orange Theme", receiving huge coverage from the major DJs.
Around the same time, Paul Van Dyk discovered Martin's track "Energize",
released under the project name Technopunk and remixed it for his own label
Vandit, resulting in a huge amount of interest in Martin's productions.
Martin was then asked by Paul to remix another track 'Jose Amnesia vs. Serp
"Second Day" for his Vandit which went on to become another successful
release.

Promos of Martin's new single "Shockwaves" received huge responses from the
leading DJs and Martin's reputation as a seriously consistent producer
continued to build.

Behind the DJ booth the same natural talent is purveyed. Using a
combination of vinyl, CD decks and the revolutionary Ableton Live software
allows Martin to blur the borders between DJing and live performances,
creating a unique experience for the crowds who travel to see him perform.
But Martin isn't such a newbie as you might think. If you dig a little
deeper you'll find the man behind many successful projects under many
different aliases spanning many genres confirmed his great versatility as
an artist and accumulating over quarter of a million vinyl sales over the
past decade.

Fans of harder edged music will remember Martin as one of the key elements
in the global success of German label and Scot Project associated concept
Overdose Recordings, where Martin achieved admirable success under aliases
including DJ Wag, Y.O.M.C, DJ Overdog and Yakooza.

With his own name now set as his main pseudonym firmly established as hot
future trance phenomenon, Martin is looking forward to great success in
2006 with UK DJ performances already lined up for superclubs including
Godskitchen, The Gallery and Passion and international tours in Australia,
across Asia, North America and across East and Central Europe the future
looks very promising for trance's man of the moment.

"Ever since I got a bootleg mix of Keane I've been a big fan of Martin's
sound.

It's still trance but for grown ups. A big sound for big floors!" Armin Van
Buuren

"Martin Roth is one of the few German artists with a continuous output of
the highest level of creativity." Paul van Dyk
