MastikSoul’s career started in 92 - splitting his time between Portugal and France, he watched the rise of dance music. His strong African roots began to hone his unique talent for production. Back then, MastikSoul started out producing Techno, but by the late 90’s came the desire to embrace other styles. MastikSoul’s sound was born.. His vision and style, both clearly reflect his origins - very percussive and tribal, and by early 2000, MastikSoul’s productions had been well noticed and acclaimed by some of the biggest names in the scene; Danny Tenaglia, Tony Thomas, Tom Stephan, Grant Dell, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Layo, Circulation, Justin Drake from Peace Division.
