Patrick Zigon Worumm EP

Sounderground Records return with their 7th release this time with a little help from the ubiquitous, Patrick Zigon, who delivers a storming EP. Patrick has fast been gaining attention amongst the dancefloor community with numerous outstanding releases and remixes, with no sign of letting up. He has already garnered a big following having remixed for labels such as Cocoon, Trapez, Treibstoff, Be as one and Kling Klong, as well as his own productions on labels such as Tanzbar and Puzzle Traxx, including the awesome „Mental Draining EP“. First up is the title track, Worumm which delivers some seriously groovy tech attitude, making it perfect for peak time delivery. A heavy rolling bassline underpins dubbed out chords and stabs, with wonky fx and percussion to keep the track firing forward. Remix duties lay in the capable hands of the “Catalan Express“ aka Alecs Marta, who takes the original and gives it a serious re-rub. Turning in a more bass driven groove, the track takes on more urgency and utilising the original elements, Alecs creates a peak time bomb! Last track on the EP is Last Soul, which provides a perfect conclusion to the EP, with a more melodic, soulful, hypnotic groover of a track. Proving that he is a man of many talents, Patrick takes us deeper into his world with haunting melodies and a subby bassline that keeps hold of you throughout, for a heads down end to the night, into the after hours.
