Randy Katana

Born in St. Maarten (Netherlands Antilles) on the 14th of March 1965, lived in the Netherlands, Cura? and Aruba before going to College in Rome Georgia USA. On holidays to Aruba (home at that time) he was dj-ing in the biggest clubs on the island, being 17 years of age. After dropping out of college around 1983 he moved to the island of St. Maarten again where he played as a resident dj at the biggest club 'Studio 7' for 4 years. In 1988 he decided to seek new opportunities and moved to the Netherlands to try out in the music business. Equipped with a s10 sampler and a drum computer plus USD 500, he moved to Amsterdam.
