Rennie Foster is one of most internationally recognized electronic DJs and Producers. Originally from Canada he now lives in Japan. His music is heavily supported by the world's top DJs such as Derrick May, Laurent Garnier and Danny Tenaglia. He has released numerous singles and remixes for both house and techno labels such as Rebirth, F-Communications, Synewave, Subject Detroit and Monoid and runs two labels, the prolific and current Dirty Works and the reputable Futago Traxx.
Rennie well known for the hit song "Devil's Water", licensed and charted by the worlds biggest DJs such as Sasha, Trentmoller, James Holden, James Zabiella, Pete Tong, Dave Seaman and many many others. Rennie creates music that blends Detroit techno, progressive House and Old School techno and his debut on Nice & Nasty at the end of 2009 seen him fuse the dubtastic minimal sounds of Berlin with the soul of Detroit with more than a cheeky nod and a wink to British Rave of the early 1990s.
Searchin for XTC and Switch Stance gained support from the leading DJs in the world and helped forge Foster's reputation among the Nice & Nasty fraternity of Terrence Dixon, Orlando Voorn, Marco Bernardi and Kenny Black.
From within the Nice & Nasty brotherhood Foster and label Boss Desy Balmer have conjured up six top quality, feet tapping, mind bending, soul searching remixes of the XTC track.
