Russ Gabriel

Russ Gabriel is a name synonymous with U.K. Techno, with his first full release coming out in 1993 on his newly formed Ferox label. Russ went on to record for most of the major techno forces of the 90’s: Carl Craig’s Planet-E, Peacefrog Records, DJAX-Up-Beats, GPR, Force-Inc, Soma Recordings, New Electronica and Dave Clarke’s Magnetic North. Always maintaining a passion for sound and synthesis, Russ initially set up his studio to make dub, but was soon converted to the electronic side of things by the early nineties radio shows of Colins Faver and Dale. After a host of releases, Russ put the small village of Liss, Hampshire on the techno map with the formation of Ferox.
