About Mark Simmons: With over 15 years of upward growth in the entertainment industry and the (dance)music scene, Mark Simmons has developed to be one of the most respected and influential dancemusic artists. As a youngster, Simmons interest in music was ignited by Prince and Michael Jackson, especially the latter's legendary moonwalking performance on the Motown 25th-anniversary special. At the mere age of 15, he began performing as a Hip Hop Dj at parties and bars with a local Hip-Hop group. That's when he learned the skills of scratching.
