Sweet N Candy Biographie

After releasing his third single for raum...musik and the success- ful
remixes of the title track "tackywakeup" by Dominik Eulberg and Marek
Hemmann we are proud to present the first album by Rico Henschel, better
known as Sweet N Candy. Besides his singles on raum...musik Rico has also
released a number of tracks and remixes on labels like "Dumb Unit" or
"Einmaleins" for example. His musical influences can be generally related
to minimal house and techno, but he is always keen of picking up on trends
and new influences, which is also the reason why he manages to stand out
between the uncountable amount of records that are being released in this
genre. Rico often seems to be one step ahead of other pro- ducers that are
making similar music, just see how many "tacky- wakeup" imitations came out
after the record was first released. This Album is aimed primarily for
clubs, because that is also his favourite playground. Rico's music can be
described as powerful club tracks that can be rather house or techno
related but they always have his own characteristic Sweet N Candy trademark
sound. Rico's sound and production skills are continually developing. This
collection of tracks that Rico has been working on for the last 7 months
surely will excite his fans.
