Last year German bassline expert Roman Boer released and album and was awarded a place in the Top 100. This year he's managed another album and another placing. Based around the idea of a radio station, the lightly conceptual 'Toca 128.0FM' has been the pivot around the big room electro-house DJ's 2009. "I think it's very boring just to line up some tracks and call it an album," he says "There has to be some kind of idea behind it, otherwise you might as well just release singles." As well as his own tunes, Roman has managed to find the time to remix artists as diverse as Mando Diao, Bob Sinclar and Yuksek, as well as reworking tracks on his new imprint TOCA45.
